PICK UP LOCATION
The D25 Quintrex is a sturdy and reliable fishing boat, perfect for small groups looking to explore the Cape to Cape waters. Licensed to carry up to 4 people with a maximum weight limit of 480kg, it features a 4.27m hull length and 1.87m beam for stability and comfort. Powered by a 25hp 4-stroke motor, this boat is easy to handle and ideal for nearshore fishing adventures, with an offshore limit of 2 nautical miles.

Booking Process
To book, you will need to pay 20% of the total hire fee, and then the remaining 80%, plus a ,bond fee, on the day of hire.
The bond will be one days hire fee and will be refunded on return of the boat undamaged,
without loss of property, on time and clean.
If you need to cancel your booking you can do this up until 72 hours before the hire day and
be refunded the full 20% Booking Fee.
Boating Rules
- Although the boats can be hired and operated all over the state, Cape to Cape Boat Hire reserves the right to not allow use in dangerous areas. Thus, the intended area and launching must be stated and consent given before the hire.
- The boats are not intended to be used at nighttime without consent, and for the D25 boats, this is not allowed by AMSA (Australia Maritime Safety Authority)
- The boats are not to be moored overnight without prior consent.
- The boats are not insured for any towing or water skiing, so this is not permitted.
Weather Policy
On the day of your hire if the wind and ocean conditions are deemed unsafe by Cape to Cape Boat Hire your booking can be cancelled for a refund of the Hire Invoice but not the Booking Fee. This will generally be if a proportion of the day is forecast to be 15 knots of more. Unfortunately, we can not cancel if the weather is just not as good as you were hoping, but with Cape to Cape Boat Hire your safety is the number one priority.
If you are hiring one of our boats and travelling outside of the local area the hirer must use their own judgement if they want to move forward with their hire and only use the boat in safe weather and sea state conditions.
